MacBook Pro M4 Max vs M3 Max — is the upgrade worth $500?

Currently on an M3 Max MBP (36GB) and eyeing the M4 Max. For those who upgraded: 1. How much faster is it in real-world use? 2. Is the display upgrade noticeable? 3. Battery life difference? 4. Any issues with the new model? I mainly do video editing in DaVinci Resolve and some 3D work in Blender. The benchmarks look good but benchmarks don't tell the whole story.
