Docker Desktop alternatives that actually work

Docker Desktop's licensing changes pushed me to look for alternatives. Here's what I've tried: **OrbStack** (Mac): The winner. Faster, lighter, better UI. 10/10 would recommend. **Podman Desktop**: Good but rough edges. Compose support is getting there. **Colima**: CLI-only, works great if you don't need a GUI. **Rancher Desktop**: Decent but slow startup times. If you're on Mac, just get OrbStack. If you're on Linux, Podman. Don't pay for Docker Desktop unless your company requires it.
