What’s everyone using as a free Office alternative on Mac these days?

I’m updating my resume on my Mac and realized I don’t currently have access to Microsoft Office. I only need something simple for writing and formatting, but I still want it to look clean and professional when exported.
I’ve come across a few options like WPS Office, LibreOffice, and even just using Google Docs in the browser, but I’m not sure what works best on macOS long term. I’ve heard WPS has a layout similar to Word, while LibreOffice is fully offline, and Docs is convenient for quick edits.
For those of you on Mac, what are you using for resumes or basic documents? Any issues with formatting when sharing files or exporting to PDF?
Appreciate any recommendations.
