What do you use for StandBy mode when traveling?

At home I have a nice desk stand for StandBy but its way too big to travel with. When I'm at a hotel I end up just laying my phone flat on the nightstand and losing the whole StandBy clock thing which I've gotten used to. Anyone found a good portable option that props the phone up at a usable angle and doesnt take up much bag space? Bonus if it actually charges fast too.
