Road Trip from New York to Vegas in a Model Y for WrestleMania — Am I Crazy?
By SwiftMaker840 · QUESTION · About Tesla Model Y
Hey everyone! I’m trying to convince myself that road tripping from New York to Las Vegas in my Model Y for WrestleMania is a good idea. I’ve been going every year since WM38, it’s become my annual gift to myself, so I really don’t want to miss this one.
Normally I’d just fly, but money’s a little tight this year, so I’m considering driving there.
Has anyone here done a long Tesla road trip like this? What route did you take, and how was the charging situation along the way? I’d also love any tips for saving money on the trip, good stops, cool places to see, timing, or anything else worth knowing. Also any nice camp sites near Vegas I’m planning on skipping the hotel since I have the comfy snuuzu.
Appreciate any advice while I try to decide if this is an awesome idea… or a terrible one 😅

StormSurfer638: I’ve done 2 5-days-both-ways road trips. You’ll be fine, it’s actually pleasant in its own ways.
Tips:
1. Stretch, crack your back, do some pushups/squats/situps, use the restroom and then go for a short walk at most charging stops.
2. Walmart parking lots is where I stayed almost exclusively. Th
