Today was the Day! Picked the New MY

Finally, the day arrived and I picked up my brand-new model Y Juniper! Incredibly excited to be a new Tesla & EV owner. When we received the car, the battery was at 97% with 40 miles on it. I’m curious why they charged the battery all the way to 100% on delivery day. We drove the car back home and now it’s parked in our garage at 90%. Since I work from home, I don’t have any plans to take the car out for the next few days. I’m concerned that leaving the car idle with a 90% battery will cause it to be in stress state for a while. I don’t want to unnecessarily drive around just to drain the battery. Will there be any issues with leaving the car idle with a high battery? Is there anything I can do to drain the battery while it’s parked?

ChillDragon399: Just keep sentry mode on and it’ll drain some, u should be fine to keep at 90 for a few days or so
