Did not enable free roll in automatic car wash

Hi everyone,
I enabled Car Wash mode on my Tesla Model Y Juniper RWD, but I didn’t realize I hadn’t put the car in Free Roll.
The car moved fine overall, but at one point it seemed to struggle. That’s when I noticed and enabled Free Roll.
I just wanted to check — could this have caused any damage, or is a one-time incident not a concern?

Thank you for all the helpful comments.
1.) I believe the car kept on moving because the car wash I went into used a flat-bed belt conveyor (the floor basically moves) rather than a traditional rolling conveyor (which forces the car’s tyres to spin). That’s one reason why my car kept on moving through the entire car wash.
2.) By Free Roll, I do mean setting the car in ‘Neutral’. There’s a button that pops up after setting the car in ‘Car Wash’ mode which we need to press in order for the car to be neutral.
3.) The car struggled only at the end of the car wash after the dryers — most likely as the conveyor belt was transferring it to an elevated pathway for exit. That’s when I realized the car wasn’t in neutral and I enabled free roll (on which it exited just fine).
4.) The car has been driving fine since then and I haven’t experienced anything too prominent as of now.

NeonVibe275: Car wash mode is always stressful. Specially the free roll timing.
ShadowDrift987: Yall struggling so hard. Just put the car in neutral once you get on the belt, then press car wash mode. For the refreshed models, there are physical buttons on the ceiling/roof of your car.
CosmicByte7712: I just put my car in neutral and don’t bother with car wash mode.
118K miles on my car, with about 250-300 car washes. No issues related to car washes ever.
ChillDragon399: I just press neutral then car wash mode. Never bother with free roll.
EagerOwl7486: Wait. What? I put the car in carwash mode as I sit waiting for the guy to waive me forward. I move into the track and when he tells me I put the car in neutral and go through the wash. I thought free roll happens at that point.
