HappySpark80: Apple Care+ covers all accidental damage. I can’t imagine them denying it just because the damage is so horrific.
I just had mine replaced after putting mine through the washing machine, they had no signs of life. Paid $30 for the new pair
ZenPanda516: Yes. They are covered by AppleCare+. They can replace all three parts for $29 incidental fee.
