Battery drain issue with Amazon Echo Show

Has anyone else noticed severe battery drain with Amazon Echo Show recently? Mine went from lasting all day to barely making it past noon. I haven't changed my usage patterns. Wondering if a recent firmware update caused this regression.

ThunderCoder34: The latest update for Amazon Echo Show actually fixed most of the issues people were complaining about. Give it another shot if you haven't tried recently.

ZenPanda516: I contacted support and they said a fix is coming next month. We'll see.

EpicPulse839: Has anyone found an actual fix? None of the workarounds work for me.
