Is Apple AirTag worth it in 2026?

I'm thinking about getting Apple AirTag but it's been out for a while now. Is it still worth the investment in 2026 or should I wait for the next version? Would love to hear from current owners about whether it still holds up.

ShadowSpark326: Not sure I agree with the criticism here. Apple AirTag has been reliable for me across multiple use cases. Maybe I just got lucky with my unit though.
