Battery drain issue with Apple AirTag

Has anyone else noticed severe battery drain with Apple AirTag recently? Mine went from lasting all day to barely making it past noon. I haven't changed my usage patterns. Wondering if a recent firmware update caused this regression.

ZenMaker756: I switched from Apple AirTag to a competitor last month. Honestly regretting it. The grass isn't always greener.

PixelSurfer27: PSA: downgrading to version 3.2 fixes this. Not ideal but works.

BlazePhoenix541: Have you tried reaching out to support? When I had a similar issue with Apple AirTag they were actually pretty helpful and resolved it within a couple days.
