Can't connect Apple HomePod to my network

I've been trying to get Apple HomePod connected to my home network for hours now. It sees the network but fails to authenticate every time. I've checked my password, restarted my router, and even reset Apple HomePod to factory settings. Nothing works. Any ideas?

ThunderCoder34: Workaround: try clearing the cache and restarting. Not ideal but it works.

BoldVibe231: The latest update for Apple HomePod actually fixed most of the issues people were complaining about. Give it another shot if you haven't tried recently.

NeonVibe275: Just ordered Apple HomePod based on this thread. You all have convinced me. Will report back in a month with my experience.
