Dell XPS 16 performance degraded significantly

My Dell XPS 16 has gotten noticeably slower over the past few weeks. Tasks that used to be instant now take several seconds. I've tried all the usual troubleshooting steps. Starting to wonder if this is planned obsolescence or just a buggy update.

SwiftMaker840: This is a known bug. The devs acknowledged it on their forum last week.

WildOrbit297: Comparing Dell XPS 16 to what was available even two years ago is night and day. The category has improved so much and this product is leading the way.

ShadowVibe354: Had the same problem. Try resetting to factory defaults and setting up from scratch. Fixed it for me. Pain to reconfigure everything but it works.

ZenPanda516: I think this is related to the memory leak issue someone posted about last week.
