Anyone else notice Google Nest Hub Max has changed lately?

Is it just me or has Google Nest Hub Max been different recently? The recent updates seem to have shifted the direction of the product. Some changes are welcome but others feel like a step backwards. Curious to hear if others feel the same way or if I'm being too critical.
