Mullvad VPN vs the competition — which should I buy?

I'm torn between Mullvad VPN and its main competitors. Can anyone who has tried both share their experience? I mainly care about reliability, value for money, and long-term support. Budget isn't the primary concern.

SwiftCoder4821: Not worth the premium price imo. The mid-range option does 90% of what this does.

BoldCoder636: Had the same problem. Try resetting to factory defaults and setting up from scratch. Fixed it for me. Pain to reconfigure everything but it works.

StormDragon762: Interesting perspective. My experience has been the opposite actually. Mullvad VPN has been rock solid for me since day one. Maybe it depends on the specific use case?
