Battery drain issue with Sony WF-1000XM5

Has anyone else noticed severe battery drain with Sony WF-1000XM5 recently? Mine went from lasting all day to barely making it past noon. I haven't changed my usage patterns. Wondering if a recent firmware update caused this regression.
