Battery drain issue with Sony WH-1000XM5

Has anyone else noticed severe battery drain with Sony WH-1000XM5 recently? Mine went from lasting all day to barely making it past noon. I haven't changed my usage patterns. Wondering if a recent firmware update caused this regression.

StormDragon762: The latest update for Sony WH-1000XM5 actually fixed most of the issues people were complaining about. Give it another shot if you haven't tried recently.

SolarSurfer919: PSA: downgrading to version 3.2 fixes this. Not ideal but works.
