Spotify performance degraded significantly

My Spotify has gotten noticeably slower over the past few weeks. Tasks that used to be instant now take several seconds. I've tried all the usual troubleshooting steps. Starting to wonder if this is planned obsolescence or just a buggy update.

EpicPulse839: Factory reset fixed it temporarily but it came back after 2 days.

StormDragon762: I contacted support and they said a fix is coming next month. We'll see.

OceanMaker198: This is getting ridiculous. How is this not fixed yet?

HappySpark80: For anyone wondering, yes Spotify is worth it at the current price. I did extensive research before buying and don't regret it at all.

PixelSurfer27: Workaround: try clearing the cache and restarting. Not ideal but it works.
