The Dyson Airstrait is the most overengineered hair tool ever and I love it

Known Issues
Dyson V15 Detect performance degraded significantly
My Dyson V15 Detect has gotten noticeably slower over the past few weeks. Tasks that used to be instant now take several seconds. I've tried all the usual troubleshooting steps. Starting to wonder if this is planned obsolescence or just a buggy update.
Dyson V15 Detect crashes on startup after latest update
After the most recent update, Dyson V15 Detect crashes immediately on startup. I've tried reinstalling and clearing the cache but nothing works. Anyone else experiencing this? Running on the latest OS version. This is really frustrating since I rely on it daily.

Is Dyson V15 Detect worth it in 2026?
I'm thinking about getting Dyson V15 Detect but it's been out for a while now. Is it still worth the investment in 2026 or should I wait for the next version? Would love to hear from current owners about whether it still holds up.
